When you think of laptops, the first thing that comes to mind is the Asus Zenbook. But if you’re looking for something a little more unique, there’s the ASUS 17-Inch Foldable Laptop. This laptop is a bit of a mad scientist, with features that are both innovative and bizarre. But if you’re willing to take the plunge, it’s definitely worth checking out. First and foremost, this laptop has an unusual design: it’s actually a tablet-style laptop that can be folded up into three small sections. This makes it perfect for travel or when you need to take it with you on the go. But what makes this device even more unique is its screen: it’s actually a 17-inch monitor that can be folded up into three small squares. This makes it perfect for use in tight spaces or when you want to watch movies or TV shows without having to worry about taking up valuable space on your desktop. But what really sets this laptop apart from other tablets is its performance: it’s actually one of the fastest laptops on the market. And while some might find this strange, given its size and design, it actually works quite well. Plus, since this device doesn’t have any dedicated graphics cards or processors, it’s perfect for those who want to use their computer primarily for browsing the web or reading books/movies.
The laptop is a 17.3-inch device with a foldable OLED screen. ASUS says it’s the “world’s first 17.3-inch foldable OLED laptop.” Because the laptop is all screen, it’s quite a bit more versatile than traditional portable computers. It can be used in PC, Laptop, Tablet, On-Screen Keyboard, Book, and Extend modes.
With the screen’s shape, you end up with a 4:3 aspect ratio or two 3:2 12.5-inch 1920×1280 displays. For any type of creative activity, you can use this giant foldable screen to get extra inventive.
Of course, you might want to use more traditional input methods with your laptop, which is why the company has the ASUS ErgoSense Bluetooth keyboard and touchpad coming, as well.
Outside of the innovative screen, there’s Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos immersive audio. It also has the latest 12th Generation Intel Core i7 U-Series processors, Intel Iris Xe graphics, and two USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports.
The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED laptop will launch in the middle of 2022. ASUS hasn’t announced the price yet, but based on the high-end specs and gigantic folding screen, we’re sure this will be expensive.
